Current Projects

The Edge Sports Center – Bedford, MA

As part of our regional expansion, Revolution is providing The Edge Sports Center in Bedford, MA with a 500 kW solar PV PPA on the roof the facility. This project serves as a great example to the regions sports complexes what can be done with the expansive roofs those facilities typically have, not to mention the example it sets for all of the athletes that utilize the facility on a daily basis! Three cheers for The Edge!!!

Sanborn Regional High School – Kingston, NH:Sanborn Regionl High School

Sanborn Regional High School marks an important next step in the Revolution! The School District has the distinct pleasure of becoming the first entity in the world to sign a new (patent pending) power purchase agreement around solar hot air generation! Using innovative technology coming from Canada, along with Revolution’s patent pending PPA approach for Solar Hot Air, SAU 17 will become the first to install what is the world’s most efficient solar hot air collector at four different locations on the school’s property.

City of Augusta, ME:

Revolution recently won an RFP to carry out and investigation and develop renewable energy generation for the City of Augusta, ME. This project will have a heavy emphasis on placing sustainable and renewable generation online in an creative financing package to help the City lower it’s footprint, as well as save the community money on utility expenses. Revolution is very much looking forward to working with the City to make Augusta the leader in renewable energy within the State of Maine!

Town of Durham, NH:

Revolution was awarded a contract to work with the Town of Durham to identify and develop renewable energy opportunities seen at the Town’s facilities and properties. The Town of Durham has some incredible potential, along with a strong community dedicated to developing sustainable energy resources for the community. Over the next several months Revolution’s team will be identifying potential projects and carrying out feasibility studies to discover the optimum locations and potential for the Town. More to come on this project!!!

Great Bay Community College – Portsmouth, NH: dsc_0550-resized

As part of a greater effort by the Community College System of New Hampshire, New Hampshire Office of Energy and Planning and the US Department of Energy, Revolution was thrilled to provide our first higher education solar PV array to the Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth, NH. dsc_0519-reducedRevolution delivered this 25kw system to the College under a power purchase agreement, while also now becoming the largest owner of solar energy in the state of New Hampshire. During the term of the arrangement the Revolution team will continue our educational mission and engage college students in exploring the potential for renewable energy through the region.

East Kingston Elementary School – East Kingston, NH:

In the summer of 2011, Revolution went live with it’s second large-scale solar PV project at the East Kingston Elementary School. The system entails a 60kw ground-mounted PV array located at adjacent to the school’s athletic fields. Revolution was able to deliver this system to the community under a power purchase agreement model in order to allow the school to witness immediate year-one savings. Furthermore, the School has become a model on how to engage the children at a very young age in clean and sustainable energy. Revolution will continue to support this immensely important effort during the term of our arrangement by helping faculty and staff develop curriculum around the PV array.
